I work for a brilliant charity called Red Balloon which supports children who are too frightened to go to school because of bullying, mental health problems or trauma in their lives.

I was particularly struck by Daniel's story on Red Balloon's website. He was so badly bullied at his secondary school that he suffered post traumatic stress disorder, and spent a year in a psychiatric hospital. Luckily, his mother found Red Balloon and I'm pleased to say that Daniel went on to thrive and is now at university. There are 16,000 children missing from school because of bullying or trauma and they desperately need Red Balloon's help. Thats why I'm challenging myself to the Red Balloon Ride. Together with others, we're aiming to cycle 25,000 in June, to raise £25,000. I'm pledging to cycle 100 miles. So will you sponsor me please? Your generosity will go keep me motivated!
