Riding a lot of miles this Summer for this incredible charity

Having almost completed my initial training to become a listening volunteer as a Samaritan, I am blown away by the approach this charity has to helping those in need -day and night: Doing exactly what they say ‘on the tin’ and working to reduce deaths by suicide.

Most of us know someone who has either taken their life or attempted to. The Samaritans are there to talk to anyone at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Sometimes knowing there’s someone there to really listen can be enough to help those feeling there’s no way out to seek a way out of their despair. 

Too many people of all backgrounds feel that suicide is the only option. Please help me raise as much as possible so we can continue to provide this incredible service.
