Story

There are over 500,000 street children in Dhaka, Bangladesh. These young souls live in constant fear of abuse, trafficking, and sexual exploitation. They fend for themselves without any family or support from the outside world. Often abandoned by their parents due to poverty or trafficked into an unspeakable world where no child should ever be. One of their main entry points is Komlapur Railway Station where their fate is decided by gangs and pimps. Muslim Charitys Street Children project, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh is a lifeline for these beautiful children. Our outreach workers are out every day working to rescue these vulnerable children. If these children are not rescued they are forced into child labor or trafficked into brothels. Help us rescue as many street children from the evils of street life and together we can help them break away from this nightmare.
