I am 52 years of age and am not known for being adventurous, to be truthful I am terrified.  I am doing a sky dive jump to raise money for Macmillan. 

My kids laughed at the idea of me wanting to jump out of a plane but I felt it was time to give something back. 

We all know someone who has suffered be it a friend of a friend or family, it truly is a heart breaking experience.

When my daughter was 3 months old I was told I had abnormal cancer cells.  This now I know is very common but to me not knowing anything at such a young age I was devastated.  I held my beautiful baby every night and lay next to my adorable 8 year old son not knowing if I would see them grow up.

Many people will connect with this same feeling.  I thankfully got through it and am now a grandmother.

I am thank full from the bottom of my heart, without the funds raised for charities to carry out work to defeat this beast many of us would not be here.

Please give to this worthy cause as who knows one day you may need the help, I pray you don't.
