Ty Hafan is the Hospice for Children in Wales.  It's so much more than a 'hospice' providing a range of support for life limited children and their families throughout their lives and after.

I am lucky enough to work with some very special children and young people at the hospice as a Physiotherapist.  When people ask what I do and where I work, they usually say something like 'that must be really sad' and some days it is...

But mostly it's a fun, vibrant and happy place filled with amazing people and where the children and families we support can make the most of the time they have together; creating memories and ensuring 'a short life is a full life'.

It is such a unique place and a worthwhile cause.   We receive very little funding from the government, and rely on donations for all that goes on in the hospice, and out in the community.  That's why I will be running my first half marathon and fundraising for Ty Hafan to ensure we can continue to support these amazing families.
