Story

Our time trial today 2.6km:

Wilf Whitby 11min 54. Sara Whitby 19min 19Paddy Whitby 42 mins 34

On Sunday the aim is Wilf runs 2.6km three times, Sara & Ronnie 2 times and Paddy, Lionel & Muppet just the once. On the other hand I could give Pads a 23 minute start and set off 7 minutes before Wilf. If the handicappers have got it right we will pass the post together or perhaps 2 metres apart...Mmmm I wonder which option I favour?

The UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

About the charity

Inspired by the lives of Dr Dominic Beer and Joseph Harris we fund raise to support community projects, raise awareness and facilitate research in order to promote improved mental health in two groups of people: adults suffering from Severe and Enduring Mental Illness and young adults
