Story
Some of you may know that I volunteer as a bereavement supporter for Cruse. Covid 19 has brought many challenges, including for those who have not been able to be with family and friends at death, or to grieve in the normal way. So I am taking part in The Big Coastal Challenge and raising funds for the Hertfordshire branch of Cruse Bereavement Care, so they can recruit and train more volunteers to be there for bereaved people when they most need support. This October people all over the country will join together to run, walk, cycle or swim a combined 18,358 km, the entire UK coastline. My 100km was walked during October over 4 days in Cumbria, partly on the Cumbrian Way but with the addition of some rather overly ambitious mountains! Thank you so much for supporting me and Cruse Bereavement Care.
