I am taking on a multi activity challenge in Slovenia in June 2022 in support of St Barnabas Hospice. Any money you can donate to support me with this challenge would be greatly appreciated and 100% of the money raised will go straight to the charity as I am funding the challenge expenses part myself. 

You will be making a real difference to patients and families across Lincolnshire living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, ensuring St Barnabas can be there for them every day of the year. By way of example, every £14.02 raised will enable St Barnabas to provide one hour of specialist at-home care to a patient living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

My mum required palliative care at home and although she wasn't based in Lincolnshire and so didn't use St Barnabas hospice care I know what it is like to be reliant on support from dedicated caring people in emotionally hard and physically demanding times. 

I want to be able to play a part in helping to provide these services to people in need of them in my local area and the rest of the county. 

My challenge is a three day trek, cycle and kayak event. On day 1 & 2, I will be climbing the highest mountain in Slovenia, Mount Triglav which stands at 2864m above sea level. The climb to the summit includes sections of via ferrata which will be a challenge for me. Then on day 3, I will be completing a 25km cycle along the banks of the River Sava Bonhinjka in the Lower Bohhinj Valley and kayaking down the Sava Bonhinjka River taking in sections of rapids.
