Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Every year since 2011, I've participated in a variety of charity challenges in support of Alzheimers (walking up Ben Nevis and two previous marathon walks).  Initially this was because it was our corporate charity at work, but more recently it's become a personal cause.  A number of friends have relatives with alzheimers, plus my Mum suffered from vascular dementia in her final years.  These are diseases that can affect anyone and it's important to do everything we can to fund research to limit / put a stop their cruel progression.  In the words of one of my friends (you know who you are!), think of your donation as an insurance policy!
