In March 2018 I became Lady Captain of St.Mellons Golf Club and chose to support this charity for my year of office. My mother had breast cancer twice and has made  a full recovery thanks to the support of this charity at Llandough. The support from friends at St.Mellons raising money has been marvellous and although I am not the fittest, it is time for me to do my bit for raising money for this worthwhile charity before i complete my year as Lady Captain.  On February 16th 2019 I will be attempting to walk up Pen Y Fan with a loyal friend - Judith Martin.  I sincerely hope that you are able to sponsor Judith and I to help to motivate us both to get fit enough to raise money for this special charity. These units can  often be under funded and with the increasing numbers of referrals they need all the help they can get. The response so far has been magnificent- we may reach 100 supporters yet.
