Regaining independence after a paralysis from spinal cord injury is what everyone wants but without your support Aspire could not provide the short term accessible housing, independent living advisors, welfare benefits advice and assistive technology programmes that enable this to happen.  I am supporting Aspire by being part of their Budgie relay team that aims to swim the English Channel (England to France) sometime in 2020 (date to be rearranged thanks to Covid 19). Yes it will involve the cold water, one swimsuit, many Jellyfish and sharks and a new shoulder injury!
