Story
As some of you may know my mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in September 2016. We were told the devastating news that there wasn't anything they could do to make it go away. Sadly my mum passed away March 2017 she was a wonderful, strong, beautiful lady that kept her humour and bright smile right until the end.
Mum wanted to end her life peacefully at St. Peter's Hospice, we were very lucky to get a room for her to be looked after and what an amazing place it is. Without them it would've been so much harder for me and my wonderful Dad. All of the staff are truly special, kind and caring people not only to mum but me, dad, james and Lucy.
It's been an awful rollercoaster for all of my family, I want to raise as much money as I can for St. Peter's Hospice it's a Bristol charity that cares for adults with life-limiting illnesses. They aim to improve patients quality of living and dying while extending care and support to families and loved ones.
All of the care is provided free of charge, but it costs them around £19,000 a day to provide the care. For most of this money they rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
So please help me to say Thank you and to help other patients and family's that need their help.
