Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.

On Sunday 20th October I will be running 10 (very long) miles.

Why?

In Syria, and around the world,  there are academics who face persecution, violence and conflict. Many of them are in danger of arrest, injury or even death. The situation for those with children is even more precarious.

On Tuesday 19th November, Pembroke College (my lovely employer) will be raising funds to rescue an academic (and their family if they have one) allowing them to escape to safety of Pembroke where they can continue to work.  We need to raise £30k in 36 hours, a very challenging sum, and anything which I raise will go directly to the total. Thank you so much for your support!
