This year, I'm celebrating by 21st birthday by supporting Africa's oldest and most biologically diverse protected area, Virunga National Park. Based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Virunga is home to 1/3 of the world's critically endangered mountain gorillas.

Instead of having you, my friends and family, buy me gifts this year, I'm asking you to join me in celebrating my birthday by donating to Virunga National Park and support the lives and livelihoods that depend on it. 

Your gift will ensure that park rangers and their families are cared for, the vast array of fauna and flora in Virunga National Park continues to flourish and around half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas are not only protected, but have the chance to thrive.
