Story

Thank you for taking the time to look at my just giving page. "The best things in life are not things." A sign I noticed in a shop recently said this and it rang true for me. With my 40th birthday approaching I was asked what I would like as gifts. I have everything I could wish for in my Husband, wonderful children, family and many fab friends. Dad suffers with Parkinsons a degerative brain disorder of which at present there is no cure. The loss of nerve cells in the brain can cause a tremour, rigidity, slowness of movement, dementia, anxiety, memory problems, hallucinations, dizziness, speech and communication problems. We can support Parkinson's UK and the great work they do supporting families and continuing their research programmes. It won't help Dad but sadly 1 in 500 people in the UK will get Parkinson's. So lets boost their funds so they can continue to find a cure for this terribly sad disease. Thank you so much. Much love Sarah xxxx

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
