Our Mum, Sarah, was taken from us too early and she will be
greatly missed. Many cancers are treatable but Sarah’s cancer was not. We are incredibly grateful that an organisation like St Peter’s Hospice exists. Our beautiful mother was treated with great respect and given the 24-hour care that she desperately needed. The nurses were so kind and attentive, we cannot imagine how we would have coped without them. We are a big family. We were able to support each other through this difficult time. Just imagining going through this without the support of the wider family emphasises the importance of the Hospice Movement during this very difficult time in people’s lives.

     It costs £19,000 a day to run St Peter’s Hospice,
two thirds of the funding it receives is through charitable donations. We hope that in Sarah’s memory we can contribute towards this important organisation.
