Hello,

I am doing the ASPIRE SWIM CHALLENGE 2008. This involves swimming the equivalent of the English Channel (22miles) in 12 weeks. I am doing this in my local pool and it works out as 1967 lengths in total. I am aiming to do about 180 lengths a week. It's pretty tough but I am quite determined to complete it.

All donations go to Aspire, a charitable organisation, set up to support over 40,00 individuals who suffer from spinal cord injuries. Their website is http://www.aspire.org.uk/channelswim/default.html
