I and my son Charles are raising money for Horizon Sports Club. Horizon provide after-school sports activities for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities in South Buckinghamshire. 

Charles himself has autism, and has benefitted greatly from Horizon’s inclusive activities, having struggled to access mainstream sports clubs. For example, he plays football every week with a group for children and adults that have disabilities.

On 4 December we are running the Marlow 5k Santa dash to raise money for Horizon. I doubt it will be the time to get personal bests given that we will be wearing Santa outfits, but it should be a lot of fun and hopefully we will meet our fundraising target.
