Edit/Update: Bethan is also doing this abseil, so as I'm a lovely husband I've added her to my fundraising page. She's more scared than me as well, and therefore deserves your support nearly as much as I do. It's getting close to the event now, so time to ramp up the sponsorship... 😀

On 8th September 2018 I'll be following in the footsteps of the great Pudsey Bear, and abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. It seemed like a good idea when I agreed to do it (I may have been drunk), to be honest I'm still pretty blasé about the whole thing now. I'm fairly sure that will change as we get closer to the event though...

I'll be raising money for Off The Record, who provide free and confidential information, support and counselling to young people aged 11-25. Mental health is such a serious issue, and it's important that young people feel they have someone they can turn to when they need help. Any donation you feel that you are able to make will be massively appreciated.
