Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

This will be the frist time any of us have run a full marathon and they dont get much bigger than London. We have chosen  Age Concern as care of the elderley is close to us hearts and not just our day job.

We are also selling advertising space on our shirts so please let us know of your requirements, minamum amount required £25 individual and £100 for a company.

Please support the old boys in getting round.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Age Concern will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

(please note a change in the law will reduce this payment to 25% after the 1st April 2008 so please sponser before that date and the extra 3% will be paid)

Many thanks for your support

Martin, Steve and Alan.

About the charity

Age UK formerly Age Concern England

Age UK is the new force combining Age Concern and Help the Aged We believe that age needs respect. It needs kindness. Sometimes it needs help. Too many people experience difficulties as they age. We cannot promise everyone good health, but we will fight for good care for all of us. Where we find loneliness, we will reach out. When age becomes a burden, we will try to lighten the load. Age UK will campaign. We will fundraise. We will research. We will make the powers that be listen. We will do all this to make life better for older people here and abroad. Age UK is for all of us, because age is a part of life.
