Hello! My daughter Anna, a 2nd year dental student, thought it would be fun to nominate herself and mum to run The Great North Run in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support as this year I will be celebrating 21 years working as a Macmillan CNS. We are running in memory of family and friends who were all supported by Macmillan during their cancer journeys. We will also be running for my patients, both past and present; and it is their determination and strength that will be a  constant source of motivation to carry on running!

Neither of us would ever admit to being any sort of runner, and this makes it even more challenging! However we are committed and will run, jog, walk, even crawl if necessary to cross that finish line! 

We are hoping to raise £790 between us, so any donation- big or small, would be gratefully received!
