Thanks for coming to my page, and reading my story.

In April 2013 I received a donor through The Anthony Nolan Trust. And less than a year later my best friend's Dad, Nick Shute received a donor through The Trust too.

My treatment for a rare blood cancer lasted over two years. In that time, I had over one hundred blood tranfusions, on thirteen separate occasions had pieces bone extracted from my back, I went into cardio respiratory arrest for three and half minutes. I also had one awful attempt at a Mohican haircut, I dressed as Right Said Fred to a fancy dress party and most importantly I received one life saving bone marrow infusion from The Anthony Nolan Trust.

If it wasn't for Anthony Nolan I wouldn't be here today and neither would Nick. We will forever be indebted to this incredible charity.
