Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Lady Captain at Sickleholme Golf Club for the next year and I have chosen Medical Detection Dogs as my charity to support because of the fantastic work this charity is doing. It receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations. There are 2 sides to the charity- Medical Alert Assistance Dogs & Bio Detection Dogs.

I am organising many different fundraising events through the year including Name the Puppy Competition, Ladies Stock Exchange, Ladies Day at Ascot, Charity Day at Sickleholme Golf Club and many more and my target is to raise the £4000 required to be able to name a puppy. I will personally make up any shortfall to that amount.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of disease. Our research includes cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases and could save millions of lives by improving diagnostics. We already help people manage complex, life-threatening medical conditions by training Medical Alert Dogs.
