Simon Balle All-through School will be joining a large number of schools in Hertfordshire to support the Herts
Reach out for Refugees charity in light of the ongoing situation in Ukraine.
The schools have decided to do something positive together, with the principle of keeping it simple and collaborative.

As such we will be taking part in
‘Reach out for Refugees Day’ on Monday 21^st March. Students can
come to wearing a blue/yellow item such as socks, a badge, scarf, ribbons, hairband  - the colours of Ukraine but also Hertfordshire. We need to remember that ‘refugee’ is something that happens to people, it isn’t who they are.  They are people, fathers, mothers, sons,
daughters just like anyone else and, just like anyone else, all they want to do is live their lives in safety, free from war and persecution. Will ask students for a voluntary contribution of £2.00 per child. 

 The most important reason for choosing the
Herts Reach out for Refugees charity is that it works closely with other key organisations to ensure that all funds raised go towards where they are most needed. The charity is run by volunteers who keep their overheads at an absolute minimum in order to maximise the impact of all funds donated. Please help us to support the people of the Ukraine.
