Story
Update.
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Annoyingly, some pain in my left knee has put my training on hold for a while. Hopefully this will go away in the next week but for now I'll ask people not to donate until I'm sure I'm going to be fit to run the race.
Fingers crossed.

Hi all.
A few months ago, as a result of peer-pressure and a deeply suppressed desire to get healthy, I agreed to run the Bath Half Marathon. As I'm sure you realise, this is completely out of character for me but it has led to some completely in character cursing of healthy people who seem to be finding the training easy.
I've left my fund raising a little late but there is still a month before the race so I'm hoping that you'll all hit payday, feel flush with cash and decide to donate. Unfortunately I couldn't find a charity devoted to bringing down the Daily Mail or finding the lost Doctor Who episodes so I've picked IOP for Africa as my charity. This is a great cause providing educational support to children in some of the worlds poorest countries. You can find more information here:
http://www.iop.org/about/international/development/africa/index.html
and

I hope you feel that this is something you are able to support.
Oh and if you want to follow my training, check out http://runkeeper.com/user/ncrypter/profile
Thanks again.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
