Story

Firstly, thank you for donating.

Anybody that has known me a while should know that I really wanted to run the London marathon for a long time. Well my moment has arrived. And my chosen charity is Nightingale Hammerson.

Nightingale House is a massive nursing home close to home. I volunteered there for over a year before starting university so have seen first hand the amazing work the whole team do there. It is in fact more than a nursing home. It provides residential care, nursing care, dementia specialist care and a respite service. To provide all these to the standard they do with all the on site medical care, therapy care and social activities they organise, requires the generosity of donations.

I am also running the Asics British 10K London run in July. Hence the larger fundraising target.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
