I have experienced my own mental health problems when I was a teenager, having both inpatient and community mental health support after suffering with an eating disorder.   

Since stabilising I have started working in mental health services and training to be a mental health nurse. During this time i realised that it doesn't matter who you are or how your life is, you can still end up battling with your own mental health stuff.

I have wanted to do something for Mind charity for a while now, to help continue to break the stigma and promote more awareness, hopefully the government will eventually take heed and give the mental health sector some more funding so we can give people the support they deserve and need. 

So after i have finished my placements and before i start second year i will do a skydive in August, despite not being a lover of heights...so please please please can you take the time to donate something...anything to a charity that promotes mental health awareness and gives support to those who are in absolute need.
