A Collaborative Art Project to raise funds for Anxious Minds

G H O S T S · 28 October 2021
Paul Alderson, founder of Wonderstuff, has created a collaborative live art event to bring together artists to support a local mental health charity.
G H O S T S will take place on Thursday 28th October, 6pm-9pm at Flintlab Coworking Space in Gosforth and feature some of the North Easts most exciting artists working in front of a live audience to bring skateboard ‘ghosts’ back to life through their own creative styles to create a set of vibrant artworks that will raise money for charity.
The live art event will see the artists work inside the coworking spaces large windows on Gosforth High Street with visitors, families, and supporters being able to view the event from outside.
Paul Alderson said “I want to move art into the forefront of peoples minds, to let people see artists at work to truly appreciate their talents. To do this and support a local charity means a lot to me. While the last 18 months have been a challenge for me, my family, and my businesses, I know that there are many people who have not been as fortunate.”
Artists donating their time and talent to the event include Amy Pearson (https://www.instagram.com/amypearson_design/), By Boo Boo (https://www.instagram.com/bybooboo/), Laura Scribbles (https://www.instagram.com/laurascribbles/), Toothrag (https://www.instagram.com/toothrag/), and Paul Alderson, Wonderstuff's founder, who has exhibited and sold work in Belfast, Newcastle, and London.

ANXIOUS MINDS
We are making an urgent appeal to offer counselling and psychotherapy services to people affected by Covid 19. With your support, we will be able to offer in-house and online counselling services including telephone, video counselling and psychotherapy services to families and front-line workers affected by this deadly disease.
The phone in the office never stops ringing as thousands of people are currently struggling with mental health and the suicide rate is getting higher.
Our staff and volunteers are working unpaid six days a week delivering face-to-face counselling councillors when a lot of organisations close down and provide support baubles, anxiety classes, and telephone service and much more.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
