For the third year running (ahem!) we’re taking part in Run the River, with our fab client Teach First, to support them in their mission to raise vital funds for the UK’s most disadvantaged schoolchildren.
Of course, it’s 2020. The year when nothing’s gone to plan! And, social distancing won’t allow a crowd of SMRSers to run, jog or walk along the River Thames as part of a mass gathering. Instead, Teach First is encouraging everyone to take on their own version of the run!
During the week of 7th – 13th September, we’ll each be individually running either 5k or 10k in a place of our choosing. All runs will be tracked on running apps, so the challenge of smashing a PB or beating the rest of the SMRS team is still at stake!
Of course, what we really want is for you to sponsor us. To raise some much-needed cash for the UK’s poorest pupils and give them the best possible start back to school.
Come—on, dig as deep as you can!
