Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

On the 18th July 2020 my family and I said goodbye to a very special  man who was loved and adored by all when he was taken from us by this horrendous disease. 

If I’m being honest we’d lost the dad, husband, Grandfather a long time ago, he no longer could cope with family celebrations, go out for meals or even go out of the house, you see this is what dementia does, it slowly takes away the person you love, it strips them of laughter, takes away their character & even their smile. 

So I’ve decided to take on this challenge to help raise money for the society in hope that one day we will be able to find a cure & hopefully give people their smile back x
