In Sha Allah A group of us will be climbing scaffel pike on the 4th of July with the hopes of raising money for the on going crisis in Yemen !! 

Yemen is suffering the worst humanity crisis on the planet for the last 100 years, the people of Yemen are dealing with an epidemic (cholera) a pandemic (COVID-19) a famine and fully blown Civil war, due to this the health care system of Yemen has essentially collapsed!!!!

Our prophet (saw) had a deep love for the people of Yemen it’s narrated that he said “ the people of Yemen are on the verge of ascending you as if they are clouds, they are the best (people) on earth” 

There is many hadiths pertaining to the people of Yemen and the love our prophet (saw) had for them 

These are our brothers and sisters, it was stated by our prophet (saw) that “the Ummah is one body and if one limb is in pain the whole body is in pain”  this is a problem that affects us as an ummah and we have a responsibility to our fellow brothers and sisters 

In sha Allah all the  money raised will buy rice and renting a container which will be shipped to Yemen and make its way to those who need it the most !!  

May Allah swt ease the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Yemen
