Story

CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!! :-D

Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page and supporting us!

Between the 18th-26th November, we (Barry and Alex Thompson - whose wife and mother, Christine, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer) decided to participate in the International Running Challenge, Lanzarote.

The challenge comprised of four days of running in November; with a 10k trail run, 13k volcano run, 5k beach run, finishing with a half marathon.

Two weeks on, we are still feeling the effects - stiff legs, sore backs and blistered feet... However - what a fantastic experience!

It was most certainly a challenge, but as Chris's treatment now starts, what a fantastic way to smack negativity in the face. We have raised almost £6000 in total for our chosen charities and cannot thank you enough for your continued support.

We are raising as much money as possible for both The Christie Hospital (www.christies.org) and St. Ann’s Hospice (www.sah.org.uk)
