#TeamPurple are taking on the challenge of the Virgin Money London Marathon 2018 in aid of MS-UK to support those affected by multiple sclerosis. Sponsor them to help reach the target of £250,000!

Story

MS-UK was established in 1993, and is a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis to make the most of today, and live life to the full.MS-UK put people affected by MS at the heart of the work that they do. They provide high quality, professional services to support people living with multiple sclerosis, and they listen to people affected by MS.

I am running in memory of my Dad’s friend Gary. Who died of MS in 2013. He was a very close friend of my dad’s they were best men at each other’s weddings and spent a lot of time home and away at the Spurs matches.

He became a close friend of the family and I would regularly see him when I started going to Spurs matches. It was sad to hear how quickly Gary’s MS developed and but with the support of my dad and his friends he was able to still go to football for many years.

He spent the remainder of his time in a Hospice and this is the main reasons why I would like to raise money, to give those suffering with MS the care, time and company they deserve while they are coping with this disease.

Please donate what you can.

Thank you,

Sophie
