A group of St Catherine's Hospice runners are taking on Brighton Half Marathon along Brighton Seafront to help the hospice be there for local people and those close to them when life comes full circle

Story

On December 27th 2015 my grandma sadly passed away from a very short battle against cancer and the last stage of her life was spent in St Catherine's Hospice.

The care my grandmother received was exceptional, as well as the care given to those around her and other patients. The doctors and nurses were brilliant and always provided fantastic care with the utmost courtesy and kindness throughout. Many of those that cared for my grandma were volunteers and without those people giving up their time with their own families, our wouldn't have the wonderful memories we have of our grandmas last Christmas.

The care that St Catherine's Hospice offer truly is remarkable. They offer this not only to the patient but to their families and friends both whilst caring for a relative and after loss.

Without donations the care they offer truly wouldn't be available. To contribute in ensuring that the care continues to be available for those in the very sad position to require their services, I am raising money by the Brighton Half Marathon.

Please donate whatever you can, no matter how big or small, it will go so far.

Thank you for reading my story.
