Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm fundraising for VSO-ICS. In March 2014 I will be volunteering in Karagwe, Tanzania for 12 weeks. The theme of the project I will be working on is 'Reproductive Health.'

ICS (International Citizen Service) is a development programme that gives 18-25 year olds the opportunity to work alongside local volunteers in developing countries, on projects that will impact communities and contibute towards the fight to end poverty.

ICS is funded by the DIFD (The Department for International Developement) as part of the UK governments commitment to achieving the Millenium Development Goals. Therefore none of the money that you donate will go towards my expenses, all donations will go directly to the charity VSO.

The charity that I will be doing the ICS scheme with is VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas), who have been sending volunteeers to developing countries for over 50 years. VSO work in 32 of the world's least developed countries across Africa, Asia and the Pacific.
