My name is Sophie and if some of you don't know in February 2020 I am travelling to Uganda to be a part of the Abode Project from the 1st till the 11th of February. The Abode project is an amazing non-profit organization which has created life changing futures for the children, families and people in the Kabale community.

What makes this organization so amazing and the real core of what keeps it going is that they are continually driven to change the lives for the children of Uganda’s poorest communities. The Abode Project is a charity which is funded from Music events in not only the UK but Ibiza as well. In the last few years it has raised astronomical amounts which has opened up amazing opportunities for people in Uganda.

The reason I am volunteering to be a part of this amazing charity is because it is an experience I have never done before, it brings worlds together and opens your mind to what is happening in today’s world. I want to raise as much money as I can because it will dramatically help change lives. The work which has been done so far is unbelievable. Each child is so talented and deserves as many amazing opportunity’s as possible. It is going to be a life changing experience for me and change the lives for people with all the donations.
