Story

Many organisations including Oasis would have benefited hugely from events like the London Marathon. as none of us are able to run the Marathon this April, we want to gather people to take on a challenge and fundraise for the transformative work of Oasis.

We are all personally involved in some way with Oasis Hub Waterloo and have seen the impact that Oasis has on people's lives. Through our schools, children's activities, youth work, foodbank, church, community choir and much more, we are passionate about seeing our community thrive and our involvement in the work Oasis does to facilitate that.

So, we are getting 52 (26 x 2!) people to sign up to run 5km in a relay on Sunday 26th April, with each person aiming to raise £26. This means together we will have run 260 kilometres and have raised £1,352!

You can help us smash this target!

I am also aware that lots of you know I do a fair bit of running anyway, so to add an donation incentive I will run in the fancy dress items chosen by my largest donor. It will need to be something I can fashion at home due to lockdown but I do already own a fair bit of fancy dress so the options are there!
