Bristol Hub are raising money for Student Hubs' Winter Fundraiser. Student Hubs are a national charity that work with students and community groups in Bristol, Cambridge, Kingston, Southampton and Winchester to add capacity, make change, and bring students and communities together. The theme of their Winter Fundraiser is inspiring the next generation. During the pandemic, Student Hubs supported local families and young people by providing free virtual student tutors, running activity days for young people facing disadvantages, facilitating mentoring, and making resources for local schools and classes.

The impact of the pandemic will be long lasting, and they want to channel energy into continuing to run free programmes and interventions for young people locally, removing barriers to opportunities and adding much needed capacity to our schools, families and youth groups locally.

To support, the Bristol Hub team are partaking in the 7 Days of Orangemas - and you can do! Starting on the 29th November we will be:

• Day 1: Wear Hub Orange
• Day 2: Bake or Cook something
• Day 3: Do a physical activity (e.g. dance, desk-yoga, go for a walk)
• Day 4: Wildcard - decide your own challenge (and share it with us!)
• Day 5: Nominate Student Hubs for Movement for Good’s £1000 charity draw
• Day 6: Learn about a social issue 
• Day 7: Share an orange with a friend, family member, peer or colleague
