In celebration of the Southampton IPS team turning 5, and in order to raise money for Southern Health’s charity brighterway, we will be walking 5 hilly miles on the 10th September 2021, doing a set of exercises at the end of each mile and, because that’s not quite challenging enough, we are throwing in a 12 obstacle assault course!

Southampton IPS, part of Southampton City Council’s Employment Support Team, have been based within various Southern Health mental health teams since 2016, supporting people with employment as an important part of their recovery. We are very proud to be completing this challenge for brighterway, a charity that supports people with their overall quality of life, wellbeing and independence.
