Story
In the UK around 3000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and it is still the leading cause of death in children aged 1-14. Thanks to research & development the last few years have seen a dramatic improvement in childhood cancer survival rates.
Much of the research focus now is into the causes of childhood cancer. It’s great that more and more children get cured from cancer but we Kerner’s wish they didn’t get it in the first place.
Jeremy, Grace and Jac have joined forces in 2013 and will be fund raising together. Jeremy will be running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday, April 21, Grace will be cycling a half-marathon while Jac will be taking to the mountains for a 2 hour climb.
We have set a very ambitious target this year but we know that our friends can help us to get there.
Thank you all.
