Last year i signed up to run Newport Marathon for Mind.

Due to obvious Covid reasons, it got cancelled and my place rolled over to this year 2021. 

I'm not gonna lie, im hoping this Marathon gets moved, so i can get my head back in the game and start training again! 

But either way, no matter when it is i will complete and hopefully raise as much awareness of #mind and mental health issues as possible.

In the going on's of the world today, im sure a lot of us can relate to stress, isolation and loss ☹ but remember we can't all be together in person right now, but we can all be together in purpose and support eachother ✌⚘🦄🙏

Andover Mind is a local charity for people who experience, or are affected by, mental health distress. They provide a range of services designed to enable people to achieve their individual potential and to participate in society. They also engage with the local community to promote mental well-being and to challenge stigma and discrimination.

Our MIND is a fantastic thing, and if we can look after and control or calm our MIND, we can control our lives, and how we respond to life. 

Every year one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands are still struggling to seek help. . I hope one day the stigma that our pain, struggling and seeking help is seen as weakness, when really it is strength of overcoming.
