Nine girls from EDF Energy 4/5 dial mismatch team within the BBC project are taking part in the EDF energy Half Marathon run in Birmingham on the 11th October 09. 

We are all different ages, shapes, sizes and abilities but we have masses of enthusiasm and would like your help to raise money and awareness for our chosen charities Global Action Plan, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.

It isn’t possible to have all three of our chosen charities on the one fundraising page because of the Gift Aid declaration you make when donating. JustGiving can only apply this to one charity.

Global Action Plan is a national environmental charity that helps everyone to make simple positive changes to reduce their environmental impact. It delivers tangible environmental, social and financial improvements by working practically and creatively with hundreds of thousands of people from all sections of society.  In homes, the workplace, schools and the wider community we help to make the small changes that have a big impact on the things that matter.
