More than 10 million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Donate now.

Story

We are members of community groups who meet regularly at St Arvans Memorial Hall near Chepstow in Monmouthshire.  We have been reading and watching the news of the devastating conflict in Ukraine with increasing horror and despair, and want to do something to help the brave people of Ukraine who are in such urgent need.

We will be holding a Recorder Playathon and Danceathon with a Singalong on Saturday 19th March at the Hall from 10am to 5pm to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine appeal.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.  £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for 3 people for one month; £50 could provide blankets for 4 families and £100 could provide emergency food for 2 families for one month.

Please support our fund-raiser if you can.  Very many thanks.
