Story

This winter has been extremely tough for the seals around our coast. Us marine mammal medics who volunteer at British Diver Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) have been very busy with rescuing and rehabilitating seal pups. As a charity, we have limited resources and relay solely on volunteers. No sick pup is left unassisted and with a huge increase in call outs this winter, finding sanctuaries for the injured pups has been extremely challenging. Medics have had pups in their garages and sheds!!

BDMLR really needs all the help it can get to sustain this upward trend. Hence the Seal Appeal to aid this.

I have never walked this far in my life, therefore this will be a very challenging trek for myself but I am determined to complete the 39 mile trek to raise money for the gorgeous seal pups so many of us help every winter.
