2022 is a year to push our boundaries, especially after two years of Covid restrictions, I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, and Snowdon night walk Is definitely the ultimate challenge! But I needed someone as crazy as me to do it with, and Steph said yes!

On the 6th and 7th August 2022 we will be getting our walking boots on and setting out at midnight, with our head torches, climbing mount Snowdon, roughly at 4/5 o’clock in the morning we will aim to be at the top in time to see the sun rise, before descending back down.

We are joining forces to raise as much money as we can for The British Liver Trust, on March the 18th 2020 my dad passed away with liver failure, prior to this the British Liver Trust had been a lifeline to us, as they gave over the phone advice, and were a huge support.

Then Christmas 2020 Jon my hubby, was diagnosed with Hemochromatosis, which is a rare genetic blood disorder, and if left could cause chirrosis of the liver. Yet again The British Liver Trust have been on hand giving more advice and support, as at the moment there is no cure or treatment for it, as not much is known, only thing that can be done is the removal of blood through venesections, which will be a lifetime on going treatment.

So with the help of Steph we want to give something back, as in such dark times they have been amazing.To get to the top is going to be a tough journey, but also a once in a lifetime moment, as for both of us it will be the closest thing to heaven!
