I have recently done a 5k in memory of my wee grampa who was taken by this life shattering disease late last year, now stepping it up a notch to a Munro along with friends and family to raise awareness of this terrible disease. I know first hand how it feels to watch someone who is a piece of your heart disappear-taking away your last memories, and your last goodbye. To watch and know that this is becoming more and more common in older age and sadly younger. To know what your friends are going through is heartbreaking all over again. 

I am doing this in honour of my grampa who I miss every single day. But also in support of my beautiful bestest friend who has recently gone through the same trauma. 

I've actually attempted and failed Ben Lomond recently on a very icy and windy day and I promised I'd be back, and in a few weeks I will be- and I'm bringing a party! 

This is a group event with some doing it in support or for their own causes so if you'd like to join our team and not forget-come smash it with us!
