Completing the Sleep Out for Turning Tides will give me some basic understanding of how things can change so quickly that life is turned upside down. Listening to the experiences of those of have had no other option but to sleep rough will be insightful and inspiring. I will be safe in the environment managed by Turning Tides for this fundraising event. However the night will be dark, the weather  cold and the ground  hard, so I will get little sleep and plenty of time to think about how this way of living can impact people. I would urge everyone to get involved and gain more awareness about the issues around homelessness.
