A child who witnesses domestic abuse can suffer tremendously. Often they think it may be their fault, they modify their behaviour, become shy or aggressive or suffer mental health problems. At RISE we provide counselling for these children, helping them to work through the emotions that a domestic abuse situation in their family has triggered.
