In memory of Oliver Smart
Climb Edward Mountain
Campaign by Edward's Trust (RCN 1105370)
Virtually climb Edward Mountain by climbing stairs. The equivalent of climbing Edward Mountain is climbing 13,830 steps of a staircase, (so if, for example you have 14 steps at 20cm high, that would mean climbing your stairs 31 times a day).

Story

I am climbing the equivalent of Mount Everest by walking 44,245 steps of my staircase (which means 45 staircases a day of 32 steps each) to raise money for Edward's Trust. They are helping my friends following the loss of their son, Oliver.

Edwards Trust is a local bereavement charity that supports children, young people and adults facing loss and surviving bereavement. Edwards Trust was founded in 1989 by Peter and Hilary Dent, in memory of their son, Edward, who died when he was 7 years old. The trust supports over 850 families per year which equates to around 3,000 family members. They offer a holistic approach through counselling and run a wellbeing in bereavement service in order to support bereaved families during their most difficult times.
