Overnight on April 2nd 2019, my younger brother Dave suffered a massive stroke. He was airlifted to St Georges Hospital in Tooting but never regained consciousness. He passed away just before midnight on April 5th 2019

Dave was however, an organ donor, and was able to donate both his kidneys to transform the lives of two separate recipients and their families. Myself and my family have drawn great comfort from this.

We were very appreciative of the care shown to Dave by NHS Blood and Transplant whilst he went on his final journey, and as such would like to promote their work, and that of their partner LiveLifeGiveLife in their ongoing facilitation and promotion of the wonderful gift of organ donation.
